Dien Bien Phu

Once you pierce the clouds, the spectacle is simply breathtaking: mountains as far as the eye can see, and just below, in what seems like an oddity of nature, is the famous “basin” of Dien Bien Phu. The province is home to various ethnic minorities, including the H’mong and Thai. The region is also of great historical importance.
