Ha Long
The Bay of Halong (Descending Dragon) lies in the Gulf of Tonkin. Each one of its 1600-odd islands and islets has its own name and legend. The monolithic limestone islands that rise spectacularly out of the bay are, for this very reason, uninhabitable and remain unspoiled by man. Halong Bay embodies both myth and natural beauty, and supports delicate ecosystems found nowhere else on earth. You must not leave Vietnam without seeing Halong Bay.
